Your Navidrome library, in your car.

Norrklang is a music player for Navidrome and Subsonic-compatible servers, built for Android Automotive OS. Self-hosted music, on the dashboard, with nothing in between.

Not on Google Play yet — Norrklang is in closed testing. Ask for a beta invite.

What you need

  • A Navidrome or Subsonic server

    Current stable Navidrome, or any server implementing the Subsonic API 1.16.1 with token authentication. Navidrome is what it has been tested against.

  • A car running Android Automotive OS

    Built in to the car — Polestar, Volvo and friends. The app runs in the car itself, not from your phone.

  • HTTPS, not optional

    Release builds refuse cleartext HTTP. A reverse proxy with a Let’s Encrypt certificate is enough. Plain HTTP works only in debug builds against local test servers.
